Featured Pets:

Tipper

Tipper • Domestic Short Hair • Adult • Female (spayed) • Up-to-date with routine shots • House trained • Primary colors: White/Black

Tipper came to us on Christmas day of 2013 and is patiently awaiting for a home of her own. She loves people and any attention she can get although she is also very quiet and will not be a bother in any home. She will tolerate other cats but would rather be with another quiet kitty. The same goes for dogs as she is not a huge fan of dogs but would learn to accept a quiet dog. Please consider Tipper because she would love to sunbathe in your window!

If you would like additional information about Tipper or if you would like to meet her, please contact the Humane Society.

Featured pet price: $15 (spay/neuter deposit may apply for intact animals).

Indie

Indie • Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Mix • Young Adult • Male • Up-to-date with routine shots • Primary colors: Yellow • Coat length: Short

Spirited Indie is a lab/shepherd mix who was surrendered to the Humane Society when his family moved out of state. Nearly a year old, Indie is strong and energetic, and loves to run in the yard (and will run off if given the chance, so secure confinement will be needed in his new home). He lived with another lab and has a couple of play buddies in the shelter, but he seems to be more compatible with female dogs. (Getting him neutered, which is required for adoption, might help tone down his competitiveness with other male dogs.) His previous owners reported that he was trainable and learned some commands, but needs some work -- an obedience class is always a good idea! For more information or to meet Indie, please contact the Humane Society.

Featured pet price: $60 (spay/neuter deposit may apply for intact animals).
