Featured Pets:

Charlie

Charlie • Domestic Short Hair • Adult • Male (neutered) • Up-to-date with routine shots • House trained • Primary colors: Grey

Charlie is one of our long-timers, being here since 2-22-13. He was surrendered to the shelter by an elderly lady. He can tolerate other cats, but would do best in a home with no other pets. He does not like dogs at all. Charlie is a very independent cat who prefers not to be bothered. Being he came from a very mellow and quiet household, we believe it would be best for him to be adopted into a home with no other pets or kids. If you would like any additional information about Charlie or if you would like to meet him, please contact the Humane Society.

Featured pet price: $15 (spay/neuter deposit may apply for intact animals).

Sadie

Sadie • English Springer Spaniel/Cocker Spaniel Mix • Adult • Female (spayed) • Up-to-date with routine shots • Primary colors: Black/White • Coat length: Medium

Sadie is a medium dog who is finally coming out of her shell at her foster home. Sadie came from an overpopulated home where she was somewhat socially neglected. She is very shy to strangers but will warm up to them over time. Sadie loves her foster mom and has over time gotten more comfortable with her foster dad. It has been observed that she is most fond of women and is very timid around children and men. In the foster home they have a cat who she gets along very well with and she had previously lived with many dogs and did fine. Sadie enjoys taking her routine walks and is trusted off leash at the farm, but that has taken several months of built up trust to acheive. When it is warm out Sadie enjoys to swim and play. Sadie is quite nervous in the car so she would appreciate keeping her paws on solid ground and low travel. She is kennel trained for sleeping at night and is allowed loose in the home at all other times of the day. Sadie would be suited best for a single family with no young children. If you would like any additional information about Sadie or would like to meet her, please contact the Humane Society.

Featured pet price: $40 (spay/neuter deposit may apply for intact animals).
