Positions:

Certified Veterinary Technician:

The Humane Society of Otter Tail County is presently seeking an energetic, friendly, honest, reliable full-time Certified Veterinary Technician who is capable of multi-tasking and willing to perform a variety of duties. This position will be responsible for performing Veterinary Technician functions including but not limited to vaccines, microchipping, blood draws, administering preventative medications, documenting medical records, managing surgery schedules, and providing basic kennel care needs. Animal Care Attendant:

The Humane Society of Otter Tail County is presently seeking an honest and reliable part-time Animal Care Attendant. This position is responsible for maintaining a safe and sanitary facility for animals and people and providing humane handling and care for all shelter animals. Assures all animals’ nutrition, housing and basic medical needs are met on a daily basis. Assists the public when admitting and adopting animals and promotes responsible pet ownership in conversations with customers. This is a front line staff position that must maintain a pleasant, welcoming atmosphere that reflects professionalism and commitment to support the work of fellow staff and volunteers.
